Nestled between La Cadena Mountains and a series of sandy white beaches on Puerto Rico’s western coast is the secluded beach town of Rincon. For a taste of Rincon’s history, be sure to visit Punta Higuero Lighthouse, a 19th century lighthouse still in use today that features an unmanned 26,000-candlepower rotating beacon.
